so I’m OCD about keeping all my posts separate if the topics are different. I digress. I was super excited when I saw that I had mail on my Tumblr. I also got my pearl earrings in the mail from my Groupon. I had lost my earrings that I had received for free from a contest a dealer was holding. There are 10 earrings…1 of each color for all my different moods.Plus, I have hours for MAC on Sunday. TG!! I really didn’t want to go through the hassle of re-applying even though my friend Jessica from Buckland would vouch for me. Time to shamelessly promote my Lia Sophia business too lol. I take advantage of opportunities.
So I forgot to say that Bob, one of the managers from a showroom, called me and then immediately put me on hold. I was about to say how dare you put me on hold but then I heard the song, As Long As You Love Me. It is no secret that I’m really a teeny bopper stuck in an adult body when it comes to BSB. Bob said he had to go. I told him I was enjoying my song, so he said he would put me on hold until I was ready to hang up. He picked up to check and asked if I was still holding. I said yes. He said outstanding then put me back on hold. When the ding ended he picked up again and said he’d calk me next time lol

THE BALLERINA PROJECT
One of my favorite NYC sights is seeing dancers warming up in the subway…have you experienced it? You’re waiting for the train and all of a sudden the person standing next to you starts to do a plie. There’s just something about that kind of beauty against a urban backdrop.
Which is why I’m equally fascinated with a photo series that’s been around for sometime now, The Ballerina Project. It’s an ongoing project by Dane Shitagi that depicts ballerinas amongst organic backdrops.
The project has been going steady for 10+ years in New York and now it’s trying to move on to a new phase – mini documentaries to compliment the photographs. Dane hopes these will give new audiences a more complete and accurate representation of ballet to help sustain it’s future.
*Unfortunately, Dane’s Kickstarter for this new phase ended 6 days ago without being funded. Here’s hoping he can get it rev’d up again.
